A winter adventure....

Dashing through the snow, in a two legged daddy sleigh,
down the driveway we go, ho hum all the way.
My mommy said go slow, My daddy said alright.
My first time riding on a sled caused just a little fright!
(To the tune of Jingle Bells...the verse....not the chorus)

Daddy, Mommy, Grandpa, Uncle Brad, and Aunt Amy went sledding on the big hill. They had a great time. Mom and dad packed me into my snow gear and we headed out to the driveway. I get a little thick in the middle with my gear so I couldn't sit very well on my own. Laying in the sled did NOT go over well. So I sat on Mommy's lap while Daddy ran around the driveway pulling us behind him. Then we took a short break to feel snow.

No Daddy....please don't leave me in this cold white stuff. I don't know what it is....and I don't think I like it.

Yes...this is better...right by Mommy! Much better. Now the white stuff isn't so bad.

Maybe next year, I'll tackle the big hill with the boys.

Grrrr...SANTA!!!!!

I was elected to help Santa make a special delivery at my Grandpa and Grandma Gutzman's house when they hosted Christmas. You see....when families hold Christmas early...Santa needs some extra hands to help out, since all the other elves are busy finishing up the last minute details. I had been working very hard unloading the sleigh. I thought it would be ok to take a little break to test out some of the things that I was unloading.

Apparently that was NOT the thing to do.....Uhhhh Santa....uhmmmmm...

Grrrrrr....Santa left me behind! Just goes to show you that you can't snoop in the presents before it's time.

Christmas at 1509

Our first Christmas in our new home.

Who is the boy version of Cinderella?

First they made me polish all the wood in the house....

Then I had to scrub the kitchen floor...

And the worst job of all...I had to untagle the lights for the Christmas tree!

Happy Birthday to me!

That's right, everyone! I turned one last week. Mommy and Daddy threw a party for me. Lots of very special people came to celebrate with me. Grandma and Grandpa Gutzman, Grandma Golden, Grandpa Golden and Miss Sue, Uncle Brad, Aunt Trish and Carter and number 2, Aunt Erin, Uncle Kevin and Raegan, Aunt Amy, my soon to be Uncle Jim and Matthew all came to the party.

Mama worked really had to get the house ready and made lost of yummy food. Grandma Gutzman brought some great appetizers...Including my favorite...CHEESE!!!! My Aunt Erin brought her famous Wisconsin Badger pretzel dip. And my Aunt Amy brought her Texas Caviar. That stuff was trouble. Once you start....you can't stop.

For dinner, Mom made chili and baked potato soup....

with all the fixings.

Grandma says that presentation is just as important and having good food...check out those spoons.

Grandma Golden made this special cake. It matched the plates and invitations.

She also made this little cake just for me.
Hooray! I'm finally one. After a whole year of milk and whole foods with no sugar or additives, how about some cake!

I don't know about this....are you sure this is ok? Maybe just a few small licks of frosting.

My Grandpa Golden has been waiting since I was two months old to give me ice cream. Mom always said no. So this was his chance. Grandpa brought a tiny tub of Hagen Das just for me. But mom still said only a LITTLE bit.
YIIIIIKES!!!! That stuff is COLD!

I'm sorry Grandpa...it's just too cold.

Baby Raegan and cousin Carter came to the party to play. They had lots of fun. I shared some of my old toys with Raegan and Carter helped me play with some of my big boy toys. They also helped keep people from cheating on the quiz game that my mom and dad made for everyone to play.

It seemed like everyone really enjoyed themselves. Mom can't wait to have another family get together!

Are you sure I'm not a marshmallow?

My Grandma got me this fancy snow suit. It's very warm...a bit large...but they tell me I'll grow. I was rather "thick" in the middle and I had a difficult time sitting up. I had a very hot time rolling around on the floor. It was hard work trying to do my usual tricks all puffed up in my new suit. I'll show you some more photos after I have a chance to test it out in the snow instead of the family room.

Happy Halloween!!!

"You see, Quinn, foxes don't eat pumpkins. We eat meat. You don't have to be worried.....ha ha ha," said the sly fox with a secretive cackle.

"Little does Quinn know...I'm a vegetarian fox. He'll never even see me coming."

Somehow the roly-poly pumpkin escapes the jaws of the sly vegetarian fox.

Has anyone ever heard of a ghetto pumpkin? It's the latest craze in horticulture. Who cares about pie pumpkins these days.

Where's my Halloween candy??? These are just plain Cheerios.
