The Things Adults Do to Me!

Well Mommy, Daddy and Aunt Amy all decided to work with me.....obviously not very well. Aunt Amy I love so much, but her bath time skills need some work.

Mommy wanted to turn me into a french person......do I look like I am enjoying the idea? Heidi and Dave came to visit so I was just being American and humoring the "tourists". They made a special visit since we couldn't go to their wedding. It was the perfect way to distract my mom and keep her happy on the last day of her maternity leave. Hopefully we'll have a chance to see them again before they move back to France. My mom sure loves Miss Heidi.Daddy was telling me stories about how tough and cool he is.......I am not really interested if you can't tell. All in all, I thank God for the people in my family because they love me a whole bunch, that's why I put up with the stuff they do to me!

Froggies

Grandma Golden gave me this froggy. When I brought him to my lily pad play mat, we started arguing about who really lives on lily pads. I thought it was me, however, Froggy said that only frogs can play on lily pads. We started to wrestle.
And...I think he won. But I think that we can work out an agreement to share :)

My daddy thinks that I resemble this frog....
I don't know about that...

Boys in the hood...

Chilling with Daddy
Word!
Who you looking at?
That's enough of being a tough guy...for now.
a different kind of hood....bath time :)

Naptime...

I can't seem to get enough of watching him sleep. I am constantly overwhelmed by how much I love him and what an amazing creation he is. If I could stay awake every second to capture and memorize every moment, I would. I don't want to miss a single thing. It doesn't matter to me that he's a boy...I think he is beautiful. While handsome may be a more manly word. There isn't a better word than beautiful.

Mommy and Quinn like to take naps together. Mommy just can't get enough time snuggling. It just might be her favorite thing to do.

We often turn back the "bundle me" after a trip in the car, only to find him hibernating under his hat. As he wiggles his head, his hat sinks lower and lower, until he finds just the right spot before he falls asleep.

...even daddy has to take a nap sometime... That tummy time mat for Quinn makes a great napping spot for daddy:)

January Photos...

Here are some photos of Quinn over that last month. We had a special visit from Aunt Alesha and cousin Payton, who came all the way from Florida to meet Quinn. It was a very special weekend. While we didn't seem to get any photos with the sunny visitors, we did capture some of Quinn's first smiles on camera. When he smiles really big, his eyes sometimes disappear, just like his mommy's.

The Finer Things in Life

Willingness "Whoa mom, you will owe Dad for the rest of his and your life on earth."
Family, "Mommy use the flash, then it won't look like were standing in a forest fire!"
Reading with mom "Mom I've read this already, can we read something else?"

Pictures are worth a thousand words! Thank you Lord for everything I have!!
